Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information NumberVault ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
The only personal information we ask for is your email address, and only if you voluntarily submit it through the form on our number generator or through our contact page. If you write to us directly, we also receive whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used for security and aggregate traffic statistics and is not used to identify you personally.
Information stored on your device
Our number generator saves a small flag in your browser's local storage so the site remembers that you have already used your free generation. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. See our Cookie Policy for details.
2. What we do not collect
- We do not ask for or store payment card details.
- We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers or financial account data.
- We do not store the number combinations you generate — they are created in your browser and disappear when you leave.
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your request and send you the information you asked for about how our tool works.
- To send occasional related updates or offers, if you have submitted your email for that purpose.
- To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and fix technical problems.
- To comply with applicable law.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate the site (for example, hosting and email delivery providers), strictly to perform those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
5. Data retention
We keep your email address only for as long as it is needed for the purpose you gave it to us, or until you ask us to delete it. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then discarded or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, to opt out of marketing communications, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it). To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our contact page. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
If you no longer want to receive emails from us, you can unsubscribe using the link in any message we send, or simply reply asking to be removed.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults only. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy or about your data can be sent through our contact page.
